Pissed off Ramblings

So the great cluster fuck of 2007 continues and I somehow managed to either get the spawn of satan growing under my shoulder blade or its a pinched nerve. Either way my entire back, left arm, and chest hurt. Havent slept more than 3 hours in three days and hate life entirely...

"Why dont you go get some meds from the doc?"  You may ask

Well I still dont have health insurance. Thats right....still fucked. So I will continue to sit here in pain, cursing all of exsistence until god decides to be humane and create a vicodin or some kinda or great pain killer fairy. Until then I plan to drink myself into a coma while plugging away at tyelonol pm and maybe the occasional shot of NyQuil(big fucking Q). 

p.s. yesterday was my b-day.

Another company picnic has come around and with it the groups of people asking me if I will be attending. Heres my problem with the company "Family" picnic...I cant bring my dog. My dog is part of my family. It is like a child to me. It IS a child to me. Just because I chose not to have kids does not mean I do not have a child! My dog is it and I'm sorry you think you kids are better than my dog....truly, they aren't.

1. My dog is more cute.
2. My dog behaves better.
3. My dog stays on a leash and goes where I tell it.
4. My dog just shit on your foot... "Good dog."


Anyways, this one lady(I'm being nice), asked me why I was not going to the picnic and here is the conversation:

Stupid-my-baby-is-better-than-your-dog-lady: "Why aren't you going to the family picnic?"

Me: "Mainly because I cannot take my dog."

Stupid-my-baby-is-better-than-your-dog-lady: (blank stare...3....2...1..) "Why do you need to bring your dog?"

Me: "Why do you need to bring your kids?"

Stupid-my-baby-is-better-than-your-dog-lady: (blank stare turns to rage in 3....2...1...) "How can you compare a child to a DOG? You are a lunatic! That is just dumb!"

Me: "Alright..."
My Brain: "Damn...you pissed her off..keep going"

Me: "I take my dog everywhere. You're lucky I come to work without her."

Stupid-my-baby-is-better-than-your-dog-lady: "Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard."

Me(as she is stomping off): "If I put a diaper on my dog can she go? Its kinda the same thing right?
My Brain: *Applauds*

Now I am not saying my dog is better than anyones kid but this really pissed me off. I understand people who have kids may not get why I feel so strongly about this and thats fine. All I am saying is I am not going to go around and ask

"Hey why do you think so highly about your kids? They are just kids."

So please do not do it to me....especially at work.

The worse thing that futher angered me is that the lady that said all this I have no clue what she does. I have been here for two years and have never seen her do anything. No idea...just walks around kissing ass and talking. Really...this isn't one of those things that I have a grudge or anything...its I REALLY don't know what she does. Its annoying.
